Our CTE Programs
Our Career & Technical Education department prepares students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to excel in both college and careers. Through hands-on learning and industry partnerships, our programs create pathways to success.

Marketing
Develop strategic marketing skills from principles to advanced campaign creation and analytics.

Sports Medicine
Master athletic training from anatomy basics to clinical evaluation and professional exposure.

Video Production
Progress from camera basics to professional-grade video projects and industry-standard content development.
CTE Fee
A $35.00 course fee for the 2024–2025 school year is required for all our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. This fee covers Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) membership, participation, and some materials, as CTSO involvement (including DECA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA) is required by Nevada Department of Education program standards. Failure to pay will result in the student’s exclusion from sports, extracurricular activities, and field trips.

Marketing
Our Marketing pathway equips students with cutting-edge digital marketing skills and traditional marketing fundamentals, enhanced through hands-on DECA experiences. Through competitive events, client projects, and industry simulations, students apply marketing strategies in real-world scenarios. Graduates leave not only with industry certifications but with proven experience in leveraging technology for business innovation.
Principles of Business & Marketing (Grade 9)
Explore the foundational concepts of marketing, including the marketing mix, target markets, and the importance of understanding consumer behavior.
Marketing I (Grade 10)
Build on principles to delve into practical marketing applications, including campaign planning, market research, and data-driven decision-making.
Marketing Advanced Studies (Grade 11)
Refine marketing expertise through advanced topics like strategic marketing, branding, and leading integrated marketing campaigns.
Marketing Industry Certification (Grade 12)
Apply acquired skills to real-world marketing challenges, culminating in the creation of comprehensive campaigns and earning industry-recognized certifications such as Google Analytics.
Sports Medicine
Our Sports Medicine pathway blends classroom theory with hands-on clinical experience. Students work alongside athletic trainers and certified professionals while earning valuable experience. Students also have the opportunity to extend and complement their learning experience through HOSA.​
Principles of Health Science (Grade 9)
Introduce the world of sports medicine, covering basic medical terminology, ethical considerations, and the role of allied health professionals.
Sports Medicine I (Grade 10)
Delve deeper into injury assessment, acute care, and the principles of rehabilitation, including practical skills in splinting and bracing.
Sports Medicine Advanced Studies (Grade 11)
Explore advanced topics in sports-related illnesses and injuries, therapeutic interventions, and emergency action planning for athletic events.
Sports Medicine Industry Certification (Grade 12)
Achieve certification-ready status through intensive hands-on practice, mock examinations, and mentorship from industry professionals, ensuring preparedness for certifications such as the NATA.
Video Production
This program transforms students into skilled content creators through hands-on training with industry-standard equipment and software. Led by a 10-time Emmy Award winner, students graduate with professional portfolios and real-world experience. We are the SkillsUSA 2024 State Champions in Video Production and Customer Service (Leadership).
Video Production 1 (Grade 9)
Introduction to camera operation, lighting, and audio skills for filmmaking.
Video Production 2 (Grade 10)
Focuses on post-production techniques, Adobe Premiere Pro, and visual storytelling.
Advanced Video Production (Grade 11)
Students produce short films, shows, and commercials, gaining experience in all production stages.
Podcasting for Video Production (Grade 12)
Integrate video with podcasting, completing real-world projects and building a professional portfolio.
